Air Dry your Hair

This one doesn't cost one penny.  Have we forgotten, are we so "involved", do we really care that much what others think.  It's okay to air-dry your hair.  Alright I do style mine afterwards, but just a little.  I don't have to get hot with the hairdryer and I save about 13 minutes.  I'm multitasking by doing less, love it.  Air-drying my hair definitely works like the 7 dwarfs.

Olay Refreshing Toner & $1 Store Make-up Cotton Pads

I have one of the worlds most oily skin.  Beyond, "oh you're so lucky', it gets embarrassing and constantly has to be wiped, and to make matters worse, I live in Florida where is it extremely humid for most part of the year.  My mom, a cosmetic freak, said that I should try some toner and that it may help.  So I plodded along and bought some Olay Refreshing Toner which runs around $2.99, and use it every morning and every evening.  It has made a huge difference in the feel and look of my skin.  It feels fresh for longer and it takes much longer for a "shine" to develop.  Thanks mom!  Olay Refreshing Toner makes me feel cleaner, younger, refreshed and almost shine-free while working like the 7 dwarfs.

ps:  My mom handed me make-up cotton wipe pads to apply the Olay Refreshing Toner, and she got them from the $1 store, they cost 3 times more elsewhere.  Obviously since it's the $1 store the brand is whatever they have.  Make-up cotton pads also work like the 7 dwarfs.

Netflix

One of my absolute favourite things in the world are movies.  It sparks my creativity even more.  I love how you can be in 1800 with a huge dress and a busting chest with an updo that would hold up a building and suddenly you can be in a ship dock in Japan 2010.

Netflix is one of my ultimate time-savers, I never have to leave the house to get the movies I want.  They get delivered straight to my door and I also have an instant watch queue.  There are no late fees and the movies that our family chose are sitting on the table waiting for us to watch whenever we can.  Whenever we can, it doesn't matter how long we keep them.  Netflix plans start at $7.99 and can be set-up right now on your computer.  I'm into Dexter, justice in a whole other view and I can watch my all-time fav movie, Pulp Fiction, any time I would like to.  Netflix inspires, dreams, uplifts, invigorates and stirs my soul while working like the 7 dwarfs.

Brita Water Filter

We need a well, a cow too but that's a whole other story.  We drink a lot of water.  100 little bottles of plastic sat on the wall.  Lots and lots of little bottles of plastic.  We are all slowly becoming more green conscious.  I decided to give Brita Water Filter a try.  I must admit I was a little skeptical and not too excited about this idea.
After washing it out and filling up the Brita Water Filter from the kitchen faucet, I put it in the fridge.  Reluctantly we all tried it, and much to our surprise, we love it.  We still buy little bottles of water, but now only use them in a pinch or in quick need.  I have recycled coke glass bottles which get washed in the dishwasher after every use, I fill them up with water and cork them.  The kids love them and grab one as they go past the fridge.  Brita Water Filter 1.13 gallon one, it's the bigger one and is superhandy, only goes for about $39.00 and has saved me about $6.00 per week which adds up to $312.00 per year and the saved the earth about 1248 plastic little bottles per year.  Brita Water Filter lets you drink healthy water while being green and works like the 7 dwarfs.

Fruit Snacks Market Pantry Target

Knorr Pesto Sauce

My kids will choose this meal over Mac 'n Cheese, faint, faint.  My little one does flick flacks when she knows we're having pesto.  It's super easy, I choose interesting pasta shapes, boil the pasta and while it's boiling I make the Knorr Pesto Sauce.

It's supereasy, all it needs is water and olive oil, add the powder and heat up.  Pour it into the drained pasta and you have a wonderful meal.  We love to add Parmesan Cheese.  Knorr Pesto Sauce is a staple in our house and works like the 7 dwarfs.

Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips

"Mom can we get Burger King"? " No sweetie, we have chicken strips at home".  Much cheaper, quick, fresh and natural.  Not nuggets, but strips, it's the real thing, 2 pieces popped into the microwave and vioula you have a healthy, decent snack for some, a meal for others.  I love it, my kids love it and even my husband had some in a pinch the other day, and he's a health freak. My new favorite spot to buy groceries is Target, they have the Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips (in the frozen section) for $4.99 for a 1 and a half pound bag, I haven't seen them anywhere else for less than $5.00.  My girls love to take them to school for lunch instead of a sandwich.  Have at it, enjoy and bon appetite.  We just add some Ranch dressing, or Blue Cheese dressing on the side and away we dunk.  Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips are tasty, moist and juciy and work like the 7 dwarfs.

Mini Cooper

I loved driving my go-cart when I was 7, I zoomed all over the place for days on end with a huge smile on my face.  My Mini Cooper gives me that same pleasure and yes I do feel like I'm 7 again while I'm driving it.  It handles really well, obviously it's a compact car, so don't go buy groceries and then go pick up 3 kids from school, because they are not all going to fit.  You do need the trunk for their backpacks.  The gas mileage on it makes up for the lack of storage.  It's definitely a town car and not for huge trips.  40 miles to the gallon in this economy is a no-brainer.  I bought mine because my kids changed schools and the new car payments for the Mini Cooper and the gas to the new school which is about 42 miles a day, costs less than only the gas for the 1998 Ford Expedition.  Now, I do love my Expedition but for long trips.  My Mini Cooper is a 2003, base model, shift and has a glorious sun-roof.  When I buy my next one I will get an automatic, the romance of shift has worn off.  I certainly don't need the SuperCharge motor.  Mini Cooper drives like a dream, is luxurious inside and it works like the 7 dwarfs.
