Brita Water Filter

We need a well, a cow too but that's a whole other story.  We drink a lot of water.  100 little bottles of plastic sat on the wall.  Lots and lots of little bottles of plastic.  We are all slowly becoming more green conscious.  I decided to give Brita Water Filter a try.  I must admit I was a little skeptical and not too excited about this idea.
After washing it out and filling up the Brita Water Filter from the kitchen faucet, I put it in the fridge.  Reluctantly we all tried it, and much to our surprise, we love it.  We still buy little bottles of water, but now only use them in a pinch or in quick need.  I have recycled coke glass bottles which get washed in the dishwasher after every use, I fill them up with water and cork them.  The kids love them and grab one as they go past the fridge.  Brita Water Filter 1.13 gallon one, it's the bigger one and is superhandy, only goes for about $39.00 and has saved me about $6.00 per week which adds up to $312.00 per year and the saved the earth about 1248 plastic little bottles per year.  Brita Water Filter lets you drink healthy water while being green and works like the 7 dwarfs.

Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips

"Mom can we get Burger King"? " No sweetie, we have chicken strips at home".  Much cheaper, quick, fresh and natural.  Not nuggets, but strips, it's the real thing, 2 pieces popped into the microwave and vioula you have a healthy, decent snack for some, a meal for others.  I love it, my kids love it and even my husband had some in a pinch the other day, and he's a health freak. My new favorite spot to buy groceries is Target, they have the Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips (in the frozen section) for $4.99 for a 1 and a half pound bag, I haven't seen them anywhere else for less than $5.00.  My girls love to take them to school for lunch instead of a sandwich.  Have at it, enjoy and bon appetite.  We just add some Ranch dressing, or Blue Cheese dressing on the side and away we dunk.  Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips are tasty, moist and juciy and work like the 7 dwarfs.
